Use Best Kayak Fish Finder To Catch More Fish

At 15th February 2017, I came across ONE ARTICLE about Best Kayak Fish Finder which is published by "Soutdoors.com Team".

After read about many "Kayak Fish Finders", I purchased "Raymarine Dragonfly 4 Pro".

Great Product. Perfect picture in any light! Use it on my kayak and can't think of a way to improve it!Worth every penny. Easy install and easy to use.

A kayak finder is a gadget that will help you find schools of fish in virtually any type of water while you are in your kayak. Once you install a kayak finder, it will eliminate all guess work from your fishing expeditions and lead you to the areas where the fish are situated. Of course this equipment will not make the fish bite the hook, but at least you will know where they are hiding.

It uses sonar technology which is similar to radar, to scan the water and send back the info to a receiver. The receiver will have a digital screen on which one will be able "see" where the fish are swimming. They generally use rechargeable batteries. It can be used in fresh water or salt water, and by serious fishers or beginners.

In this way, kayak fish finders are very versatile and will take ones fishing experience to a whole different level. Like many electronic products, kayak fish finders will vary according to quality and price. Some of the companies that make kayak finders are Hummingbird, Garmin, Eagle and Lawrence.

Using a fish finder to locate fish is not difficult, but it does take some practice and some getting used to. The first thing to do after buying a fish finder is obvious- Read the Manual! The manual may not be exciting or may have more technical information than you are interested in reading, but it cannot be stressed enough how important it is to read the manual in order to familiarize yourself with the unit you purchased.

The next thing to do will be to mount your fish finder. Whether you are using a transom mount, trolling motor mount, hull mount or a portable mount, your manual will be able to walk you through the steps to properly mount your model. If in doubt, consult a professional or have a professional mount it for you.

While there are thousands of rods designed for use in small boats, and a one or 2 piece rod certainly has its advantages over multiple section or break down rods, it's important to consider where the rod will be stored both in your craft and, or in your kit when traveling to and from your launch point. As an accepted compromise, many kayak fishing enthusiast opt for a telescopic rod which as the name suggests, telescopes into it's self to be mare than about 12 inches or 300mm in length and be easily stored in a back pack or stowed in a hatch on the deck of the kayak. With today's technology, rugged materials which are flexible enough to be used in catching good size fish from a kayak and tough enough to take the hard knocks often associated with kayaking are being used to manufacture some truly great fishing rods for kayak fishing gear.

Quality is measured by the craftsmanship of the product. This is often a function of the manufacturer and can vary widely depending on the component quality and manufacturing standards. Quality has improved in recent years. But buyers should still be careful as many of the added high tech features have resulted in lower overall quality ratings and have further frustrated buyers.
